About us

Welcome to the Islamic Center of Albany, GA

The Islamic Center of Albany proudly serves as the heart of the Muslim community in Albany and the surrounding region. As the only masjid within a 70-mile radius, we are honored to provide a spiritual home for Muslims across Southwest Georgia.

We hold all five daily prayers, the weekly Jumu'ah (Friday) prayer, and special congregational services during Ramadan and Eid. Our doors are always open to those seeking a place for worship, reflection, and connection with others in faith.

Our masjid is more than just a prayer space—it's a vibrant, close-knit community built on the values of compassion, unity, and mutual respect. Families and individuals from diverse backgrounds come together here to worship, learn, and grow spiritually.

In addition to regular prayers, the Islamic Center of Albany offers educational programs, youth activities, community service efforts, and opportunities for interfaith dialogue. We believe in building bridges of understanding and fostering a peaceful, inclusive environment for all.

Whether you are a resident, a visitor, a student, or someone curious to learn about Islam, we warmly invite you to visit us. Come experience the spiritual benefits, hospitality, and sense of belonging that make our masjid a special part of Albany.

Everyone is welcome. May peace and blessings be with you.
